Video 'Bridges'
A series of ten A2 format (594x420) aluminum prints horizontally placed on the floor, leaning to the wall. The prints are portraying the same woman standing in front of bridges in different parts of the world: USA, Europe and Asia. The pixilated pictures are black and white and the depicted bridges are roughly colored yellow with a marked before the prints where made on the plates. With the work comes a text in the form of a booklet: [Bridges] Part I. The text is divided in ten short texts, which are reflections on the work [Bridges] Part I. They contain musings, questions, problems, and ideas around the work such as; aesthetics, ethics, tourism vs. immigration, power structures, communication, authorship, time, personal development.
