Book
In 2022, I started YouTube livestreams in which I created Confession Drawings. I start the livestream with a personal and authentic confession, which can be deep and existential but can also be about topics such as stress, rejection, and being stuck. From this confession, I then make a drawing.
Through the videos I show the viewers the process. In the drawings I do not show the mental suffering, but rather something helpful, healing or empowering.
With my art, I want to create a space where there is a safe space for love, safety, and trust. And a book concerns such a space, where the art viewer/experiencer can have that emotional, one-on-one, ‘safe’ experience.
