Sascha & Pieter
Sascha & Pieter were two of my classmates while studying at the Art Academy in the Netherlands.
Portraits
This is a painting on a self-prepared canvas. And it is painted with oil paint. Sascha on the left is painted in soft (white, pink, purple, yellow) colors. And Pieter on the right in complementary darker (purple, brown) colors.
Fascination
Already at the beginning of my training as an artist, I was interested in people. And how similar and yet so different we are. These contrasts have an incredible attraction to me. People never cease to amaze and surprise me.
