Marriage
After I created the series Marriage.—Which is a series of six oil paintings on canvas. I created this painting. This painting is painted on ready-made prepared canvas. The painting has a wooden frame made by an encadreur, which is a mix of silver/gold paint.
Support
Herman, on the left, is helped and supported by Corry, on the right. They are together as a couple. And thus in the same boat. If one has a problem both have it. The road is bright yellow. There is a white chapel in the distance. And Corry seems to be powerful and with positive energy. Her face is copying the area of the problem.
In the same Boat
The boat is small and light blue. And there seems to be a bridge coming from Corry towards Herman who is turning away. It could be a helping hand, a healing injection. A sort of crossing. As if saying we are doing this together.
