Greek Head (Green) is an oil painting on a loose canvas.
The head I have positioned at the top of the canvas.
This painting was a study of a white marble greek head. Perhaps of a philosopher or Greek athlete.
The original marble head had no eyes. And to me, this made the sculpture seem hollow.
I made the head green. Giving it some modernity And gave it deep dark black eyes. Which made me think of eyes being on drugs like XTC.
