What is your Inspiration?
PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE
The red thread in my art is and has always been people. My art is personal and socially oriented.—Even when no people are visible in the image. It arises from connecting with others. And the joy and psychosocial challenges that come with it.
Art to Connect
My art practice is my holistic examination of humanity and culture. To me, art functions as the bridge between myself and the rest of people. When I create art, which as life is an ongoing process, I show the failures, misunderstandings, and loneliness that come with it. And with it as well self-development, pleasure, and hope. Since I love to observe and analyze, this is an ongoing and invigorating journey.
Art Work Work Work
I work project-based. And within several disciplines. Such as video, photography, text, collages, etc.:
▷ Photography—on topics such as loneliness.
▷ Confession Drawings—which allow me to process daily challenges.
▷ Videos and audio.
▷ Bridge-Performances.
▷ I also enjoy making books.
▷ In exhibitions, I explore art installation settings. Through which I seek again, connection and communication with the audience.
